初夏

どの季節が好き？と訊かれたら、昔は迷わず「夏が大好き！」と答えていましたが、最近は暑さ寒さが身体に堪えて、「初夏」とか「梅雨入り前の5月頃」と言うようになりました。

アウトドアとか、テラス席が気持ちの良い季節、これが一番！

昨日の東京は日中29度まで上がったようですが、まだ朝夕は涼しくて私はまだ羽毛布団掛けて寝ています。

20日月曜日は早朝からザーザー振り。でも私晴れ女ですから大丈夫。

案の定お昼前には雨が上がり、さあ着物を着てお茶のお稽古へ。

お友達にいただいた単衣の縦縞の柔らか物にかづさ織の木綿の帯を銀座結びで。

初夏の涼しげなコーディネイトにしてみました。

お茶室の炉が閉じられ、風炉の季節となり、何もかも軽やかになりました。

Which season do you like? When asked this question, I used to answer without hesitation, ``I love summer!'', but lately, as my body has become more tolerant of the heat and cold, I've started saying ``early summer'' or ``around May, before the rainy season begins.''
