備後屋オリジナル藍染浴衣

 梅雨の晴れ間はとにかく蒸し暑い！

ということで、まだ6月ですがお茶のお稽古には浴衣を着て行きました。

浴衣には見えない⁈

さすがに浴衣１枚だと真夏っぽくなるので、長襦袢を着て、名古屋帯を銀座結びにして、帯締め帯揚げもして、着物仕様にして着ました。

It's hot and humid during the rainy season!

So, even though it's still June, I went to tea ceremony in a yukata.

Doesn't it look like a yukata?

As expected, wearing a yukata would make it look like midsummer, so I put on a nagajuban under it, and  the Nagoya obi to the Ginza knot, and added an obijime and obiage to make it look like a kimono.

This is Bingoya's original indigo dyed yukata.

I rush to introduce it around the end of August every year, but I'm happy to introduce it in June this year!

締める位置によって色合いが違うところが面白い夏帯です

It's an interesting summer obi

 with different colors depending on where you put it.

長襦袢無しで、半幅帯で超カジュアルに

It looks very casual without nagajuban and hanhabaobi.

この上質で大人な浴衣が一枚あれば、今年の暑い夏も乗り切れるはず。

木綿の単衣着物として着れば、5月の暑い日や9月頃まで着られるので、とても重宝します。

If you have this high-quality and elegant yukata, you should be able to survive this hot summer.

If you wear it as a single cotton kimono, you can wear it on a hot day in May or until around September, so it is very useful.

まあ浴衣といってもこのお値段ですから、おうちでザブザブ洗うのは私も怖いので、クリーニングに出します。浴衣のクリーニング代は絹のお着物よりも全然割安ですよ〜

Well, even if it's a yukata, it's this price, so I'm afraid to wash it by myself at home, so I'll send it to the dry cleaners. Yukata cleaning fee is much cheaper than silk kimono~
